“Laetitia de Chocqueuse\u2019s artworks give themselves to us amidst the giddiness of a dizzy spell. Like a sea shell would hold the sea, each piece contains the spatiotemporal memory of its original context. Sciences, both human and natural, mingle with the history of techniques and shapes but the connecting of remote if not diverging realities does not end there. Because each one of them is equally penetrated by the idea of a flow, a cycle, encompassing both transmission and anticipation.<\/em>” Ingrid Luquet Gad<\/p>\n

Laetitia de Chocqueuse lives and works in Malaga, Spain, and Paris, France.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graduated from the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she also studied at The \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Arts D\u00e9coratifs in Paris, La Cambre in Brussels, as well as at ZhDK in Z\u00fcrich. In Belgium, her work has been shown in the context of the Speedy Wash (Wiels outdoor) or during the fair Art on Paper (Bozar). In France, she has been selected for the Salon de Montrouge, the Bourse R\u00e9v\u00e9lations Emerige and the Novembre \u00e0 Vitry painting prize.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
